At a 5.7 MHz pixel clock with 363 pixels per line, we get 15,702 lines per second (5,700,000 / 363 ≈ 15,702 Hz). With 262 lines per frame, that’s ~60 frames per second (15,702 / 262 ≈ 59.9 Hz). These timings fall within what a 15kHz arcade monitor can handle.
This number, the EA said, would rise if more homes were built on floodplains. The UK government plans to build 1.5 million homes in this Parliament, and in some parts of the country more than 10% of new homes are being built in flood-prone zones.
