This allowed me to experiment and iterate and tweak things until the desk fit me perfectly. Aluminum extrusions make it super easy to mount virtually everything, from monitors to keyboards to cup holders. The shelves are finished plywood.
At its core, a stream is just a sequence of data that arrives over time. You don't have all of it at once. You process it incrementally as it becomes available.
